Our Story
FASHIONABLE ORGANIC COTTON SLEEPWEAR
Chandler & Greene "In Partnership with Earth" began from the friendship and collaboration between Barbara Greene-Trozzi, Sheila Chandler and Jolee Stone. Barbara and Sheila are a mother/daughter team whose initial conversations about sleepwear began in 2001. Jolee Stone is a fine artist and designer with solid expertise in clothing production, fit and technical design. In early 2003, we put our ideas into action. Fortunately, we met Mary Lou Marsh Sanders, a fine artist and fashion designer who has won the prestigious “Tommy” award for print fashion design. Her artistic direction coupled with Jolee's meticulous interpretation of fit and technical production details resulted in elegant and classic designs. Chandler & Greene was born when we solidified the means to demonstrate our strong commitment to ecologically responsible living that became the basis of our company.
OUR DESIGN DIRECTION
We believe that clothes should be comfortable, and designed with flair. We recognize that not every woman has a perfect shape and that clothing needs to flatter every type of figure from the willowy to the fluffy! We designed superb organic fabric, coupled it with timeless design and special trims and details. Classy and comfortable could both happen!
